Informed by the emerging field of trauma research and neuroscience, this powerful and unique training blends yoga, neuroscience, mindfulness, and meditation to address the complexities of trauma in the brain, mind and body. Together, we explore the rhythms of trauma, and how it manifests in the mind and body, including symptoms such as anxiety, depression, chronic pain, and chronic disease.

We explore how breath, mindfulness, and meditation interact with the neuroplasticity of the brain to create healing, ultimately helping students and patients feel safe and empowered to develop agency and cultivate wise leadership over their lives. You will learn how to use yoga to help your students and patients build resilience and regulate their nervous systems.

This training is appropriate for yoga teachers and mental health professionals. It is designed for those interested in integrating yoga, mindfulness, and meditation into their work.

Your teachers:
Sarahjoy Marsh, MA, E-RYT 500 and the DAYA TIBS Yoga Teacher Training Team, bring together a combined 100+ years of experience to bring to this informative and holistic Trauma Informed Brain Sensitive Yoga Teacher Training.

This training is eligible for continuing education credits through the Yoga Alliance as well as the International Association of Yoga Therapists. 
Limited to 16 students in order to provide maximum learning and mentorship in a 1:4 ratio.
